Honesty is required to have a healthy relationship with yourself and others. So many cases I have involve secrets from the other spouse or an inability to be honest. Without honesty, what's the point? And how can we stop dishonesty to ourselves and others from creeping in before it's too late?

Came across this profile for .sanders.therapy and really enjoyed her content. I found myself reading her posts and nodding along, post after post.

I can't tell you how important this is!
The reasons for breakups and divorce are many, but the more you know the better chance you have at succeeding.

Relationships are hard work, don't let anyone fool you. Times will get tough and sooner or later you will be challenged. Education is the key to anything you want to succeed in, and relationships are no exception. Learn about your partner, likes, dislikes, pressure points, common ground, etc. Learning more now can save you time, money, headache and heartache later.

Having a child does not mean you are expected to know everything. Especially during times of stress and uncertainty, learning or preparing for a "new normal" can conjure unexpected conversations, situations, or feelings. The best way to navigate through new situations is to learn and prepare.
