At Hotshot, we know that the first day you walk through the door of your firm can be intimidating. Most of us here can still picture it, even after all these days...how badly we just wanted to go running scared away from it all.
We're ok now, but we weren't fine at all then. And we remember all too well how hard the first few months of practicing were.
That's why we created Hotshot. To teach you how to write a summary judgment motion so that your arguments don't get lost in translation and to give you the chance to learn how to take a deposition without being paralyzed by it.
So even though we can't make time fly or help you be your old self again back before you went to law school, we can remind you of the one real thing you've ever known--that you've got this, and we've got your back.

As if M&A practice wasn't complicated enough, it's also important to stay up to date on market trends. That means keeping an eye on trends for drafting and negotiating provisions that are becoming more (or sometimes less!) popular in acquisition agreements. Oh and it's also good to know what the provisions are supposed to achieve and why they're included!

That's why we've partnered with the ABA's Mergers and Acquisitions Committee to bring you our M&A Provisions courses, where you can learn things like:

1. The claims "if true" concept in private M&A deals;
2. Buyer and seller perspectives on claims "if true" language in acquisition agreements;
3. How and where claims "if true" language appears in M&A agreements; and
4. What data in the ABA's Private Target M&A Deal Points Study suggests about market trends for the claims "if true" concept.
