The new version of DACA removes the age limit for eligibility, as long as the person entered the US before their 16th birthday and before January 1, 2010. Therefore, if a person entered the US in 1990 at age 15, and lived in the US continuously since then, they could be eligible for DACA, even though they are almost 40 years old. There are at least three new programs that may help you and/or your family members obtain a “work permit”, a social security card and a travel permit (to legally leave the USA and return safely). Start dates have NOT been announced yet. The programs are Deferred Action for Parental Accountability (DAPA), Expanded Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and Expanded Provisional Waivers.

Gay married man in Florida approved for Green Card. Even as Congress worked on its overhaul of the system, the immigration officials issued a permanent visa on Friday to Traian Popov (third photo, left), a Bulgarian immigrant who lives with his American spouse, Julian Marsh (right), in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He is the first person in the U.S. to receive approval based on his same-sex marital status after the Supreme Court gutted DOMA. They were married in New York last year. You can be next!!
