¡Batalla Legal Internacional! ¿Falsificación de Tecnología Bélica en Perú? 👩🏻‍⚖️✍🏼

UWS, una prestigiosa compañía norteamericana 🇺🇸fabricante de armas, firmó un contrato con FAME, empresa del Estado peruano para la producción y transferencia de tecnología. La idea era revolucionar el mercado con 350 mil fusiles.

¿El detalle que destaca?
UWS había patentado el diseño exclusivo de uno de estos fusiles y la mesa de trabajo. Sin embargo, FAME revocó el contrato aduciendo supuestas faltas en el cumplimiento, algo que es totalmente infundado.

🚨 El giro en 2025:
A través de las redes sociales, se difundió que FAME habría falsificado el arma 556 y 762, dando inicio a una batalla legal que ya ha trascendido a los medios internacionales.


UWS solicita la incautación de todas dichas armas y multas por la venta de fusiles con diseño robado.

Este caso pone en juego derechos de propiedad intelectual, la integridad del contrato firmado y la seguridad tecnológica en un mercado de alta competitividad.

ON A PERSONAL NOTE:

Dear fellow Jewish Lawyers,

There is a reason that we recount the exodus from Egypt at least three times a day and even on Kiddush on Shabbat. It is an ever-present battle and in every generation the Passover story, which tells of the Exodus of the People of Israel in Egypt, as if we ourselves were liberated from slavery, takes on a new meaning, providing hope in a different form.

This year the story resonates profoundly as on October 7, 2023, Hamas terrorists started a brutal war, killed 1200 people, and then took hundreds of hostages, with 133 Israelis and foreign nationals, babies, and adults remaining captive in Gaza. This prompted an immediate surge of antisemitism across the globe and, once again, Jews feel unsafe in countries to which they have made a positive contribution for generations. We realized few will stand for us and it is up to us to take a stand.

While we are horrified we are also hopeful. While we despair, we are also defiant. We are a people who have survived when nearly every ancient culture has fallen, this is just another movement that believes that it is novel and powerful, but much like Egypt. It too will fall.

We appreciate the freedom we enjoy and fight for those who are not free. Below is the prayer that Rabbi David Lau wrote to be incorporated into our Seders.

יְהִי רָצוֹן מִלִּפְנֵי אָבִינוּ שֶׁבַּשָּׁמַיִם
אֲשֶׁר הוֹצִיא אֶת עַמּוֹ יִשְׂרָאֵל מִתַּחַת סִבְלוֹת מִצְרַיִם
הוּא יְבָרֵךְ וְיִנְצֹר אֶת אַחֵינוּ וְאַחְיוֹתֵינוּ
הַחֲטוּפִים הָאֲסוּרִים בְּכַבְלֵי בַּרְזֶל,

FROM OUR LONDON OFFICE:

The UK Government announced a major extension to the use of mediation in civil legal claims. “All small claims in the County Court (generally those valued under £10,000 [$12,700]) issued under the standard Part 7 procedure of the Civil Procedure Rules…will be referred, without exception, to HM Courts and Tribunals Service's (HMCTS) Small Claims Mediation Service (SCMS) for a free one-hour telephone mediation conducted by a court-employed mediator.”

If we were to implement a program like this across the U.S. we would save millions of dollars in tax-payer money as well as thousands of man-hours wasted waiting around for a hearing.
