"Defendant Medical Examinations" (DME), or “Independent” Medical Examinations" (IME) are a routine part of the personal injury process. The highly biased reports generated at these examinations can substantially impair plaintiffs’ ability to recover just compensation for their injuries. mind we have developed a robust system for observing, monitoring and reporting on IME’s, DME’s and NFE’s. Our highly trained IME advocates have the know-how to protect your clients’ rights. Our Service

When you hire us, you can expect that we will conscientiously and diligently perform the following:
Interview you to determine your needs for the exam. Call your client 24 hours before the IME to make sure he/she will be attending and provide directions, if necessary. Take a high resolution picture of the IME sign in sheet which will then be converted to PDF format and forwarded to you. Observe the examination and take detailed notes of the intake questions and answers, the type of tests the doctor conducts, the plaintiff’s performance during those tests, the length of the examination, and any other relevant points during the exam. We also ensure that your client does not permit the doctor to perform any unauthorized tests such as X-rays or MRI's. Provide a brief profile of the examining doctor. E-mail you, within 5 business days, a detailed report including all of our notes and observations. The IME WatchDog professional who attends the IME will also be available to submit an affidavit in support of your opposition to defendants’ motion for summary judgment and testify at trial. I am a sole practitioner and usually cover my own appearances including physical exams. But sometimes I am overbooked; then I have to call Watchdog. They do a good competent job, at a fair price, and produce a useful report. I will continue to use their services and recommend them to others.
