New York City's Local Law 126 is yet another financially punishing, ineffective and outdated new elevator regulation - which has gone relatively unknown for more than a year after it was enacted. Unless corrected, you'll see dark panels in every new and updated elevator in New York City that will likely never be used during any ride you'll take in your lifetime.
