🚨 GOP GOVERNOR'S DONOR FRIEND FREED AFTER 73 DAYS, NOW CHARGED WITH VOTER FRAUD 🚨

Sara Polston is back in an Oklahoma prison, charged with two felony counts of illegal voting. Prosecutors say she cast ballots in the June 16 Republican primary and the August 25 runoff while serving a felony sentence. Oklahoma law bars anyone from voting until that sentence is complete.

She should not have been anywhere near a polling place. Polston was sentenced to eight years for driving drunk in 2023, at nearly twice the legal limit, and nearly killing Micaela Borrego, then 19. She served 73 days. She went home with an ankle monitor, and nobody told Borrego or her family.

Polston and her husband, Rod Polston, are close friends of Republican Governor Kevin Stitt. The two men were high school teammates and fraternity brothers. The couple gave $27,800 to Stitt's campaigns and hosted a fundraiser for him at their home.

A grand jury found Stitt called the head of the prison system about her case, twice. Phone records show Stitt placed 16 calls to her husband after her guilty plea, one of them two hours before her release was approved. On recorded jail calls, her husband told her he had just talked to "the guy" and "our friend." Grand jurors concluded that was Stitt and called the favoritism reprehensible.

Grand jurors said they lacked the evidence to charge a crime. Lawmakers answered by closing the ankle monitor program to drunk drivers who maim people, and that bill became law without Stitt's signature.

Her name was on a January felon list sent to the county election office with no birthdate or address, so she stayed on the rolls as an active Republican. Republicans have spent years warning that felons were corrupting elections. The case Oklahoma found is a registered Republican, a donor and a friend of the governor.
