I am honored to share that I have been appointed as a member of the New York State Bar Association's Civil Rights Committee. In an era when all our hard fought rights and freedoms are slipping away at an alarming rate, it is critical that we push back hard against those who would rob us of the protections guaranteed to us by the Constitution. As I have often said, this is not an issue that involves politics-or it should not be. I am proud that the New York State Bar Association has consistently stood up for the Rule of Law. All attorneys should do the same.
