Join CPR Y-ADR (International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution Young Attorneys in Dispute Resolution) for a seminar on the CPR arbitration rules, mediation procedures, and resources. This is followed by reception with an opportunity to meet practitioners from international law firms. Sharing an event of potential interest to NYU Law International Law Society members on behalf of NYU BALSA:

BALSA (Black Allied Law Students Association) will be going to Ghana for cultural, legal and community service exploration. We will be partnering with Fair Justice Initiative and Happy Kids Foundation to work on issues relating to global criminal justice reform and early childhood education.

Take a break from studying to join us for a Ghanaian meal for a great cause on Thursday, November 29th at 5:30pm-7:30pm (come at any time) in Golding Lounge. All proceeds will go towards supporting care packages for incarcerated prisoners in Ghana and kids at the Happy Kids Foundation. Suggested donation amount is $10 which includes a full meal and beverage. To donate, Venmo (with payment description as Ghana_NYUID) or pay at the door. Please stop by Golding Tuesday through Thursday from 11am to 3pm to make your donation.

Hey ILS members (JD and LLM)!

Are you interested in perfecting your English or working on your foreign language skills, making friends, and participating in NYU Law's thriving global community?

This year, the International Law Society is organizing a peer-to-peer language exchange program! You and your language exchange partner will be matched based on what languages you speak, and which language(s) you are interested in learning.

ILS will be hosting a mixer in the near future for those matched to meet each other and everyone else involved. (There will be food!) Don't miss this chance to keep up with or learn a foreign language and meet new people at the law school!
