Today I stood with the family of Matthew Felix, a 19 year old Cambria Heights resident gunned down and killed by Nassau County Police in a completely unjustified manner. Nassau County Police crossed city lines, into Queens County, and executed Matthew who had no weapon and complied with the police. The pain of Matthew’s mother is unbearable and the officers involved must be held accountable.

Big day in the courthouse today. My client was charged with an alleged stabbing in a bar fight and facing a minimum of 5 years because of a previous violent felony conviction on his record. Negotiated a plea to a misdemeanor with 1 year in jail which my client gladly took. www.najmilaw.com
