Some things are worth the wait.

Hero Beach Club in Montauk isn't just a backdrop for beautiful photos. It's a destination worthy of its own story. And Sports Illustrated agreed.

We're thrilled to share that our client Hero Beach Club was featured in the latest issue of Sports Illustrated, spotlighting everything that makes this place magnetic: the mid-century architecture, the Atlantic coastline, the surf vibe, the tequila welcome drinks, and yes, smores by the fire pit.

What Jon Krasner and the team have created at the End of the World is something entirely their own. We're proud to be in their corner.

Congratulations, Hero Beach Club.

Brodsky and Lynn examine key legal frameworks, including New York's SHIELD Act, and outline the steps companies must take to reduce liability exposure: adopting comprehensive cybersecurity programs, exercising diligent vendor management, and establishing clear contractual protections.

As data breach incidents continue to rise, understanding your legal obligations has never been more important. We encourage general counsel, compliance professionals, and business leaders to read this timely and practical resource.

When Mickey Leigh needed someone to fight for his late brother, the punk rock legend, Joey Ramone, he called upon our Partner Stephen Brodsky.

Mickey had been in a long-standing dispute stemming in part from a possible Netflix movie to be based on his book, “I Slept with Joey Ramone: A Punk Rock Family Memoir.” With high-conflict litigations and arbitrations ongoing for years, Mickey brought Stephen into the fray to take on the lead. In that role, Stephen helped spearhead a successful resolution for Mickey and Joey Ramone.

Mr. Leigh said, "I'm extremely grateful for the grueling and tenacious work put in by Steve. I brought him into the action late in the game, and he delivered."

Mr. Brodsky said, "I’m truly honored and grateful to have represented Mickey and helped him protect the legacy of his brother, the great Joey Ramone.”

The Pace Women's Justice Center provides free legal services to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and elder abuse. Their attorneys help individuals secure orders of protection, navigate family court, and build lasting safety and stability. For many survivors, access to legal counsel is the difference between remaining in danger and finding a path forward.

We invite you to join us in supporting that mission. Warshaw Burstein partner Stephen Brodsky has joined the Host Committee to assist with this year’s event, alongside a distinguished group of women leaders dedicated to advancing justice for survivors.

Some moments speak for themselves.

Hero Beach Club in Montauk has been selected as a location for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit photo shoot, and we couldn't be more proud.

Warshaw Burstein has had the privilege of serving as counsel to Hero Beach Club, and watching them earn this kind of recognition is a true honor. What Jon Krasner and the team have built in Montauk is something special, a place where hospitality, beauty, and atmosphere come together in a way that is entirely their own.

It comes as no surprise that Sports Illustrated took notice.

Congratulations to the entire Hero Beach Club team on this well-deserved milestone. We are proud to be in your corner.

"People don't live their lives in contemplation of their divorce."

Our Partner Steven J. Mandel said it best.

Steve serves as Co-Chair of our Matrimonial and Family Law Group and is a nationally recognized name in family law. He was recently quoted in a Los Angeles Times piece exploring the legal frontier of polyamorous unions in California, and his take is worth a read.

As California cities move to formalize these relationships, the courts are just beginning to grapple with what happens when they end. Steve's insight is a reminder that the law has to be ready for what life actually looks like, not just the ideal version.
