Artificial intelligence continues to reshape the legal profession, creating new opportunities while raising important questions about ethics, governance, and professional responsibility. During Greenberg Traurig's recent GT VOICES program, “AI & the Practice of Law: What Good Looks Like Across Courts, Firms, and Corporate Legal Teams”, San Francisco Shareholder Tayanah C. Miller provided opening remarks. There was also a thoughtful discussion moderated by San Francisco Associate Kristin L. O'Carroll, featuring Janee Weaver, Senior Counsel at Lyft, and Suzette Barnes, Vice President, Client Litigation Counsel at Morgan Stanley. The panel explored responsible AI adoption, client expectations, risk management, and the enduring importance of human judgment in legal practice.
Across the firm, colleagues gathered for local watch parties in our San Francisco, New Jersey, Phoenix, and Boston offices, with Boston especially embracing the theme through a creative prompt-to-plate taco bar that brought AI-inspired innovation to life in a fun and engaging way.
Thank you to our speakers and attendees for contributing to an engaging conversation about the future of AI and the legal profession.
