🥳😎Today we celebrate and honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr!

As a Human Rights Activist and visionary, King caused creation of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) of 1965. The act focused on radically changing a once ethnic and racially-based immigration system to one that was inclusive regardless of race, colour or creed.

From desegregation to voting rights, immigration to in*******al marriage, there are so many reasons to thank this great man.

We salute Dr. King for a legacy that allows us to serve countless families to legal status!

Reasons visa application may be denied:
❌Being unprepared
❌Providing incorrect or insufficient information
❌Applying for the wrong visa type

If denied a visa, in most cases the applicant is notified of the section of law which applies. Visa applicants are also advised by the consular officer if they may apply for a waiver of their ineligibility. ⁣

You are worthy and deserving of all good things in life. You are strong, empowered and capable of anything. You are worthy of the things, people and places that bring you joy.

There’s so much emotion and hard work that goes into immigration proceedings. Whether you are the petitioner, beneficiary or undocumented survivor hoping for a pathway to legal status and relief.

Regardless of the situation, take time today to see, feel and do something that brings you joy and happiness. It not only refreshes you, it helps you to refocus on the road ahead.

- Go for a walk

Be encouraged and remember this can be the last year you don't have your green card!

You can have this goal and desire it takes being clear on the how and following through on only the parts you can do.

Maybe you have tried to research and figure it out on your own.
