How important is the police report in a DUI case?

The police report is probably the most important document in a DUI conviction. It’s a reflection of the arresting officer’s memory and in fact, when testifying, the officer can use it “refresh” recollections.

You may think that a "low blow" will get you off the hook if pulled over for drunk driving, but that's not always the case. If an officer suspects you of being impaired while driving, you can still be hit with a DUI, even if you show a BAC below the legal limit.
