Raisner Roupinian LLP files WARN class action on February 13, 2026 against First Brands Group and affiliated entities in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas on behalf of all affected employees terminated without 60 days' written notice seeking 60 days' pay and benefits for each affected employee.

We amended our complaint on February 26. On January 19, 2024, settlement checks were mailed to the members of the WARN class in the $1,750,000 settlement against First Guaranty Mortgage Corporation. The settlement, on behalf of the First Guaranty Mortgage Corporation employees terminated without sufficient notice in June 2022, was given final approval by the Delaware Bankruptcy Court on December 28, 2023. On November 14, 2023, the Delaware Bankruptcy Court granted preliminary approval of a $1.1 million settlement on behalf of Live Well employees terminated on May 3, 2019 without 60 days' written notice in alleged violation of the WARN Act.

On September 21, 2023, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware granted final approval of a $1.455 million settlement on behalf of approximately 190 terminated Virgin Orbit employees. The class action contended Virgin Orbit terminated its employees on April 3, 2023, without providing 60 days' notice in alleged violation of the federal and California Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Acts. On August 1, 2023, Raisner Roupinian LLP filed a class action suit against Corporation, and its subsidiaries, on behalf of its 30,000 employees terminated on July 28 with no notice. On May 24, 2023, Raisner Roupinian LLP filed a class action suit against Progrexion Teleservices, Inc and its affiliates in the United States District Court for the District of Utah. The class action contends that Progrexion terminated its employees on April 5, 2023, and within 90 days of that date, without providing 60 days' notice in alleged violation of the federal Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act.
