This is a unique opportunity for a mid-level Immigration Paralegal to join one of the preeminent immigration law firms in the U.S. and work in a pleasant, but fast-paced, environment. Many of our staff have worked here for more than 15 years. An Immigration Paralegal at Bretz & Coven has direct client contact and works extensively with attorneys. Excellent organization, writing, and communication skills are a must. A second language skill is required and in particular, we are seeking a Punjabi speaking paralegal, but will consider candidates with other foreign langue skills.

Qualifications:
• Previous experience as a Paralegal with an immigration law firm REQUIRED. *
• Fully bilingual in English and Punjabi (speaking, reading, and writing) preferred.
• Other fluency in foreign languages will be considered.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word.
• Experience with immigration client management/forms
• Excellent computer skills required, including online research and preferably Microsoft Office Suite and/or Microsoft Office 365

Job Duties
• Assist attorneys with complex immigrant and nonimmigrant petitions and RFEs.
• Assist attorneys with complex immigration petitions / applications.
• Organize and analyze information and files.
• Assist in developing and/or improving firm case workflow, polices, procedures, checklists etc.
• Draft letters.
• Assist with Drafting legal documents including motions, pleadings, evidence submissions, exhibit lists, and appeals to US. Immigration Courts and the Board of Immigration Appeals.
• Draft legal applications for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services
