🚀 IAB Legacy Series | David Moore & Chris Moore

As part of IAB’s 30th anniversary, we’re celebrating the leaders whose influence extends beyond their own work and into the next generation of talent. Meet David Moore, Chairman at 4screen, and his son Christopher Moore, Senior Business Development Omnichannel Grocery Ads at Amazon.

"When I started in this space over 25 years ago, digital advertising was still a tiny, experimental corner of the industry—mostly banner ads on early websites, with limited budgets and even more limited creativity. It felt niche, technical, and a bit chaotic. However, as time passed, it became such a great industry that I encouraged Chris to become a part of this fast growing, dynamic industry. I am very proud that he is a part of it," says David.

🚀 IAB Legacy Series | Rick Berger, Josie Berger & Melanie Pudles

As part of IAB’s 30th anniversary, we’re celebrating the leaders whose influence extends beyond their own work and into the next generation of talent. Meet Rick Berger, SVP, Member Engagement & Development at IAB, his daughter Josie Berger, Senior Associate, Video Investment at Publicis Health, and his niece Melanie Pudles, VP, Brand Experience at Publicis Collective!

Legacy isn’t just what you build, it’s what you pass on. We asked about the career lessons that still hold true today and for Rick, it comes down to a few core principles: that details matter, that professionalism and respect for everyone in the organization are essential, and that our job, as humans, is to always help others.

🚀 IAB Legacy Series | Carl Fremont & Jessica Fremont

As part of IAB’s 30th anniversary, we’re celebrating the leaders whose influence extends beyond their own work and into the next generation of talent. Meet Fremont, CEO of -Simpson & Jessica Fremont, Manager, Client Success, at Bros. Discovery.

"My wife and I always guided our children to pursue whatever career path that they wanted. I never steered my daughter Jessica towards media and advertising. Once Jessica chose a career in media, I gave her and still give her advice. Jessica did not want me to connect her to people I knew in the industry and preferred to achieve her successes on her own."

🚀 IAB Legacy Series | Jim Spanfeller, Anna Spanfeller, Jamie Spanfeller, Stephanie Spanfeller

As part of IAB’s 30th anniversary, we’re celebrating the leaders whose influence extends beyond their own work and into the next generation of talent. Meet Jim Spanfeller, CEO, G/O Media, and his daughters Anna, Jamie, and Stephanie.

Reflecting on how the industry has evolved over the past 30 years, Jim shared that he never imagined advertising would still be grappling with as many “black box” algorithms and fraud challenges as it does today. Looking ahead, he hopes the next 30 years bring greater transparency, stronger alignment around what consumers value most, and AI guidelines that make sense for everyone.

"To be honest, I never focused on whether my daughters would follow my path into advertising," says Jim, "I was just hoping they would be happy and successful in whatever career they decided to pursue… and so far, so good!"
