We are thrilled and honored to be representing Adam Carmon, whose criminal charges were finally officially dropped this week. Mr. Carmon was wrongfully convicted of murder and spent nearly three decades in prison. He is now a free man.

Today, we filed a new federal lawsuit against a group home and its employees, who we allege demeaned, mocked, abused, and neglected our client, a woman with severe disabilities that confined her to a wheelchair. Rather than being treated with respect and dignity, our client was targeted for the very disabilities that staff were supposed to be assisting her with.

A federal judge rejected a school's motion to dismiss a KLLF-filed lawsuit alleging horrific bullying of a young man for being gay. The decision ruled that KLLF’s lawsuit plausibly alleges “long-running inattention, inaction, and deflection by the defendants,” and that “school officials turned a blind eye to the harassment D.S. was experiencing, doing little, if anything, to protect him.” The court remarked that “the facts alleged make out a textbook case of deliberate indifference.”
