Today is World Autism Awareness Day 💙

In the US, approximately one in forty-four children is diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder. To borrow something we saw the amazing The ELIJA School for Autism post today, we do need increased Awareness, but we also need increased Acceptance and Advocacy.

We are humbled daily by the children and young adults, families, teachers, therapists, and experts we know and work with. Their actions define love in all forms. There is no taking “no” for an answer.

As we push for Awareness, we need to continue to press for a lot more resources, financial and otherwise.
