"Gorsuch then asked [Richard Min] whether, under his rule, courts are required to consider risk-reduction measures that might allow the child’s return even if neither parent proposes them. ... Min pushed back a little, countering that the court would have to consider 'obvious, readily accessible available remedies' even if the parents did not necessarily suggest them."

Our partner Richard Min will be arguing before the U.S. Supreme Court on March 22 at 10am ET in a historic international child abduction case. This is only the fifth Hague Abduction Convention case to be heard by the Supreme Court. The case focuses on the Article 13(b) grave risk of harm defense and the role of Ameliorative or Protective measures.

Today granted cert in the case of Golan v Saada. This will be only the 5th Hague Abduction Convention case to be taken up by SCOTUS. We look forward to watching our partner Richard Min, the top expert in this field, argue this important and certainly monumental international child abduction case in 2022!
