This year (and this week) we’re celebrating 40 years of Maxwell-Kates serving New York City’s cooperative and condominium communities. Since 1986, we’ve grown from a small handful of properties to nearly 200 buildings and more than 15,000 units—and we’re grateful for the boards, residents, professional advisers, and team members who have made that growth possible.
Forty years in NYC is both a milestone and a responsibility. We’re recommitting to what matters most: responsive service, strong building operations, and clear financial stewardship—delivered with a high-touch, locally informed approach. As an Associa company since 2019, we’ve also expanded the resources and shared expertise we can bring to every community we manage.
In our 40th year, we’re also focused on giving back—supporting the Associa Cares Vendor Roundtable on May 20, which helps raise funds for families displaced by natural and human-made disasters. The event has raised nearly $1 million over the past four years, and we’re proud to be building on that impact in 2026.
