📢 MAJOR MILESTONE: Form I-360 VAWA Approval Notice Received! 🎉
We are incredibly proud to share a major victory for one of our clients: a Form I-360 Approval Notice from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for a spouse under the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA).
For survivors, this notice isn't just paperwork—it is a formal declaration of independence, safety, and a clear path toward a secure future in the United States without relying on an abusive sponsor.
🔍 Educational Breakdown: Busting Common Myths About VAWA
There are two major misconceptions that often stop survivors from seeking the legal protection they deserve. We want to clear those up today:
Abuse is NOT Just Physical: Many times, spousal abuse comes in the form of extreme mental, emotional, financial, or psychological cruelty. You do not need to show physical scars to qualify for VAWA protection.
Concrete Physical Evidence is NOT Required: You do not necessarily need police reports, hospital records, or photographs to win your case. By law, USCIS must consider any credible evidence. An I-360 approval can be based entirely on your own detailed, credible testimony (your statement).
🔒 100% Confidential: The Abuser Will NEVER Find Out
Safety is the highest priority. The VAWA self-petition process is completely confidential.
Strict Legal Safeguards: Under federal law (8 U.S.C. § 1367), USCIS is strictly prohibited from releasing any information about your case to your spouse. The abusing spouse will never find out that you filed the Form I-360. All correspondence from the government goes directly to your attorney or a safe address of your choosing.
🛡️ 100% Authentic. Real Results.
In immigration law, trust and transparency are everything. Every single approval notice shared by our firm is 100% authentic, verified, and stems from a real case handled by our dedicated legal team. We protect our clients' privacy by redacting personal details, but we share these real documents to prove to survivors across our community that a path forward is possible.
