Shpigel Law P.C. was in the news this week. Reuters reported that Shpigel Law P.C. filed an injunction against Sberbank in the Southern District of New York on behalf of a former top Russian Olympic official.

Sanctions imposed over the Ukraine invasion have sparked a longshot bid to freeze the assets of Russia's largest bank, Sberbank, in U.S. court, with a former top Russian Olympic official arguing his $1 billion lawsuit against the bank hangs in the balance.

You can say the same thing in more than one way. If you come off as too aggressive (i.e. "there's no way I'm giving you this") the other side may stay entrenched in their positions. Try, instead, making the same point in another tone (i.e. "I'm happy to offer this or that"). Watch how it changes your ability to negotiate yourself into a better situation.

A demolish-and-rebuild process can be a great way to redo your home the way you want it, but don't overlook the legal issues that go with it. Among other things, find out whether the original structure is grandfathered into a zoning code that no longer allows the type of building that was originally there. If it is, you might want to consider leaving the outer shell of the building and simply remodeling the interior.

A custody and child support agreement may appear fine at first glance, but in between the lines you might notice traps that are not readily apparent. Never assume that the "spirit" of the agreement will be carried out as life goes on. If something important to you isn't in writing, bring it up and make sure it gets addressed.
