We are pleased to share that Lisa Alter and AKB were recently the focal point of Billboard “From The Desk Of...” feature. In the piece, which ran in Billboard’s annual Women in Music issue, Lisa shares insight from her experience as the founding partner of a predominantly female firm, weighs in on the intricacies of copyright law within the music publishing industry, and discusses women’s continued impact in a traditionally male-dominated industry.

“I don’t think we have a single client that hired us because we’re women,” Lisa tells Billboard in the piece. “I think they hire us because we do a great job and because we care.”
