Calcaterra Pollack LLP achieves victory in Hall et al., v. Nassau County, et al. 19 CIV. 893 (EDNY) dismissal: The firm defended the County of Nassau, New York in a federal civil rights class action case where plaintiffs alleged that the County’s tax assessment system discriminates against certain communities. The Plaintiffs sought $1.2 billion in damages. Mattel and Fisher-Price announced a recall of the Rock ‘ n Play Sleeper, an inclined sleeper that was advertised for overnight sleep, after the CPSC learned of numerous infant deaths in the Rock ‘n Play Sleeper.
