A day in the life of a 24-year-old REALTOR® in Indiana 🏡☕️

No two days in real estate are ever the same, and that’s one of the reasons I love what I do.

Here’s what today looked like:

☀️ Started the morning with coffee and a great conversation about life, future goals, and real estate.

💪 Headed to the gym where I ran into Noah Mack with Imperial Exteriors—always great catching up with other local business professionals.

👨‍👩‍👧 Stopped back home to spend a little time with my wife and baby before heading into the office.

🤝 Got to catch up with my amazing team. I always enjoy seeing everyone and working alongside people who push each other to be better.

🔑 Wrapped up a closing for one of my sellers—there’s nothing better than helping clients reach the finish line.

🍽️ Finished the day with “linner” and a great conversation about life with a good friend.

🚨 If I could go back in time and start building wealth through real estate all over again… this is EXACTLY what I would do. 👇🏡

You don’t need to wait until you’re “rich” to invest. You just need a smart plan.

Here’s the strategy I’d use:

1️⃣ Buy a home I’d actually want to live in (ideally 3+ bedrooms and 2+ bathrooms).

2️⃣ Make sure the property can be rented when I’m ready to move out.

3️⃣ After closing, have two friends or people I trust move in with me.

4️⃣ Split the housing costs. They each pay 1/3 of the mortgage, and I pay the remaining 1/3.

5️⃣ While living there, I’d build equity, benefit from appreciation, and save significantly more money each month because my housing costs are so much lower.

6️⃣ Once I’ve saved enough, I’d buy my next property.

7️⃣ Either bring those roommates with me or keep them in the original home as tenants—and repeat the process.

💡 Why I like this strategy:
✔️ You know who’s living in your property.
✔️ They’re more likely to take care of the home.
✔️ You start building equity much earlier than most people.
✔️ You can save aggressively while letting real estate work for you.

This isn’t financial advice, and every situation is different—but if I were starting over, this would be one of the first strategies I’d seriously consider.
