Being a company man won't protect you after an offshore injury.

Too many offshore workers stay quiet because they don't want to let the crew down or they believe loyalty will be remembered.

When the job can no longer be done, that loyalty is rarely returned.

Report the injury. Tell your doctor exactly what happened. Get everything documented.

If it's not on paper, it didn't happen.
