Then again… it could just be a coordinated mission for New Haven pizza. Hard to say.

Who am I?

I’m an associate attorney at LTKE, admitted to practice in both Connecticut and New York.

I earned my J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2024, after completing my Bachelor of Science at Portland State University in 2020, where I majored in Political Science and minored in Communications.

After law school, I served as a clerk at the New Haven Superior Court, assisting judges with research, writing, and editing memorandums of decision.

During law school, I stayed busy:

I was active on the Moot Court Board

I participated in Negotiation and Dispute Resolution

I held leadership roles in the Women’s Law Student Association, UConn Law’s National Lawyers Guild, and the Connecticut Journal of International Law

I worked in clinics including the Center for Child Advocacy partnership and the Animal Law Clinic

I was named the Roisman Fellow (2023–2024), working with attorneys at the Children’s Law Center

Outside the office, I love traveling, going to spin classes, and spending time with my two cats.

In the legal world, we’re reminded daily that words carry weight. Judges, attorneys, clients, clerks — everyone remembers not just what you said, but how you made them feel. Today, June 1, is a perfect moment to use that power for good.

Say Something Nice Day isn’t about flattery or forced positivity. It’s about the discipline of finding something genuinely admirable — even in tough moments, even with tough people.

Maybe it’s the opposing counsel who challenged every argument you made, but whose preparation you respect.
Maybe it’s the judge who denied your motion, but whose reasoning sharpened your case.
Maybe it’s the court clerk who keeps the docket running smoothly under pressure.
Maybe it’s the client navigating one of the hardest chapters of their life with courage.

In a profession built on advocacy and conflict, kindness is not weakness — it’s strategy, humanity, and leadership.
