It's been awhile since I have introduced myself, and we have quite a few new faces around here. 🙌

I'm Vyctoria.

I'm the owner of Balanced Business Solutions, Enrolled Agent, and Mom to three. I have been in the accounting world for 7+ years and have been helping small businesses grow their business and plan out strategies to turn their business around for 2 years at Balanced Business Solutions.

I tend to stay busy when me and my team are not working on my clients work-- 3 kids will do that to you 😅, but have a passion for making the daily lives of business owners easier while doing something that I enjoy and love.

In my time in the accounting world, I have seen MANY different situations. I've dealt with books that were a mess (or more like a disaster), books that were non-existent, and books that were great, but just needed a little pick me up. I have collaborated with my clients to find out the goals they wanted for their business and align their financials to match those goals.

As an Enrolled Agent, I offer a dual purpose for my clients. Not only do you get a team that will manage your books, but you also have someone on your side if you run into problems with the IRS. My clients have the benefit of having someone who can represent them before the IRS and is well versed in tax law to be able to make sure we are getting the maximum deductions possible for their business.

While our main services are bookkeeping, accounting, and tax services we also offer a variety of other services such as payroll, QuickBooks migration, Registered Agent Service and more.

I have multiple ways of keeping track of all of my projects personal and business goals, but my planner is more than just a tool for organization. It's a symbol of my commitment to success. We are getting close to the beginning of the month which means your bank is about to start posting your bank statements.

If you're our client, no worries -- we handle all of the bank statements and reconciliations that come with them. Once we receive documents, we are able to get your financial statements to you in a few business days.

If you AREN'T our client, that means that you should be preparing for your reconciliations. Here are some helpful ways to do that:

✨Make sure you are logging all of your expenses and keeping receipts EVERYTHING business related.

✨Track down any receipts that have gone missing - if you have read our previous post about using the QuickBooks App check the purse, jean pockets, and center console of the vehicles 😅

✨Once you receive the statement save a copy of it along with your reconciliation report to a cloud based storage system so that you always have access to it.

Our #1 recommendation for this?!?

✨HYSA✨

A High Yield Savings account is one of the most underrated, yet beneficial accounts we can set up as business owners because it makes our hard earned money work for us. The money you put in the account will earn interest at a higher rate that a regular savings account because the money is meant to sit in this account for a certain amount of time. We recommend having a HYSA for an emergency fund and for tax planning so that you are prepared for two events that are GOING to happen at some point in your business. In regards to taxes, maybe a little more often then we as business owners would like IYKYK 😅
