Here's a picture of Atty. Walecka ready and waiting for the flood of visitors at the Coastline Celebration of Seniors!

The Walecka Law team had the pleasure of attending this year's Celebration of Seniors. Events like these provide a wonderful opportunity to connect with older adults, caregivers, and families throughout our community, answer questions, and share information about estate planning, elder law, long-term care planning, and protecting what matters most.

Thank you to Coastline Elderly Services for organizing another outstanding event and to everyone who stopped by our table to say hello. It was great meeting so many members of our community and hearing about the issues that are important to them.

We look forward to continuing to serve seniors and their families throughout Southeastern Massachusetts and Cape Cod.

We are hosting another Tiny Talk session on May 27!

These free 15-minute conversations have been a wonderful way to connect with members of our community who have quick questions about planning for the future or simply don’t know where to start.

It’s been a joy to offer accessible guidance in a low-pressure setting. Because of the positive feedback, we’ll be continuing Tiny Talks for the rest of the year on the last Wednesday of every month.

Dartmouth Town Meeting recently approved a change that helps protect property tax exemptions for qualifying veterans whose homes are held in trusts.

This is a practical update that recognizes common estate planning tools and helps ensure veterans don't lose benefits because of how their property is titled.
