The Family Preservation Project will strive to improve the processes by which family conflict, such as abuse, neglect, and domestic violence, is addressed by the court system, court officers, and related agencies. The Project will strive to reduce the amount of interaction between families and the court, and to reduce the severity and the amount of time when such interaction is necessary.
