For many Venezuelans, applying for TPS is the right decision, even if you have a good asylum case.

TPS has finally been granted for Venezuela. This is great news! TPS is a good benefit. It allows Venezuelans here having fled the persecution and instability of their home country to get a work permit, protects you from deportation, and in some states it counts as an “admission” like a visa.

The Memphis Immigration Court is still closed. Currently, it is closed until Oct. 31, 2020. Each week, the government extends that date for one more week.
