This happened today right outside of my office. Five gunshots. At noon. Anyone could’ve been hit and killed. Innocent bystanders. Children. I had walked out of the office ten minutes before. My staff was still there. I immediately called the school and made sure they had heard and were on lock down. I have never felt unsafe where I live or in my town. I am enraged (even more than I already was if that is possible) and heartbroken and tired. We have to do better. We have to use our voice to elect gunsense candidates. We have to vote out the same old tired old white men married to the gun lobby and their money. Don’t wait until it hits close to home. Do something now. 💔

Two years ago I met the wonderful Daniel Horowitz for lunch to enlist him to help me if I ever got sued for my reproductive justice advocacy. Never in my wildest dreams two years later did I think I would be here. How can you help? Donate to today. We will keep fighting and barreling over these BS bans. My legal dreams have been achieved.

Happiness today are our new window signs supporting for Davidson County Fourth Circuit Court. Election is in March for this Davidson County seat. It is so important to have someone on the bench who has been personally touched by the issues our clients face and Stephanie is that.
