WHAT HAVE I BEEN UP TO?
February has been a whirlwind — the kind of month that reminds you life doesn’t slow down, even when you wish it would. It’s been full of highs and lows, but no matter what’s happening behind the scenes, I’ll always show up where justice demands.
• We had to take my grandfather to the hospital and then to assisted living. Hard moments — but we also celebrated him turning 88, and that was a gift.
• Lots of much-needed cuddle time with my poodles.
• Saw The Features in concert — absolutely awesome!
• Treated myself to a new couch (because sometimes you just need the reset).
• Survived Nashville’s Snowmageddon — 7 days without power. SEVEN. (And in the middle of it all, my dad’s house burned down. We’re still working through that recovery.)
• And finally — I joined the prescription glasses club for driving! Shoutout to Elite Eyecare for taking care of me.
Through it all, I’m reminded that resilience isn’t optional — it’s necessary. Grateful for the people who hold me up so I can continue to stand up for others.
Big things are coming. We’re launching a new series soon, and I cannot wait to share it with y’all. Thank you for being here.
