Christian Legal Society of Belmont University Christian Legal Society of Belmont University is a professional and student-run organization discussing issues that overlap the Christian faith & the law.

The Christian Legal Society (CLS) is an organization that exists to inspire, encourage, and equip lawyers and law students, both individually and in community, to proclaim, love and serve Jesus Christ through the study and practice of law, the defense of religious freedom, and the provision of legal assistance to the poor. roviding mentors and resources aimed at fostering spiritual growth, compassion outreach, and the integration of faith and practice; and to establish vibrant Christian Legal Society student chapters at every law school in the nation and at key Christian colleges. Micah 6:8

The semester is quickly coming to a close! This means that the current Christian Legal Society officers need to pick new officers for the 2015-2016 school year. If you are interested in being considered for an officer position, please email Victoria Gentry ([email protected]) with a few sentences about why you want to help lead CLS and what positions you would be willing to chair (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, 2L liaison). See our club constitution on TWEN for more details about these positions. Please have these emails in by Friday, April 3rd.
