Skull’s Rainbow Room isn’t just another cool bar in Nashville—it’s a living piece of the city’s story. Tucked in the basement of the Southern Turf Building, right on Printer’s Alley, this spot has been drawing a crowd since 1948. You can feel the history when you walk in, but the experience is anything but dated. The bartenders are serious about their craft—every cocktail feels like a small work of art—and the dinner menu has racked up more awards than most places dream of, from Condé Nast to Yelp.

What really sets Skull’s apart, though, is the vibe. Live jazz every night in downtown’s only jazz lounge gives it that rare kind of energy that makes you want to linger. And if you’re out late, the burlesque shows Thursday through Sunday add a twist that’s classic Nashville in the best way—bold, fun, a little unexpected.
