After six memorable and thrilling years of helping hundreds, if not thousands of clients navigate their legal troubles, Willsey & Wintz is coming to a close.

Troy has recently accepted a position in the Milwaukee County's District Attorney's office, and he will be making an exciting leap in his career to the other side of the table, protecting his community in a new and different way. We're excited for Troy's next chapter of new opportunities, and wish him and his family the absolute best in their future.

Although Willsey & Wintz is coming to a close, Cory will be staying in south-central Indiana to continue on the legacy of zealous representation built under W&W. For any of your Indiana legal needs, Cory will be here, ready to answer the call.

We will soon be taking steps to make changes to our online presence, notably the conversion of this page to Wintz Law.

Thank you all for all of your support and patronage over these years; we owe our success to all of you, and couldn't have done it without you!

"As to the charge of Armed Robbery with a Deadly Weapon, a Level 3 Felony, we the people find the Defendant NOT GUILTY."

After sitting in jail for over two years, and three grueling days of trial, these were the words our client had so patiently waited to hear. Today, justice was served.

The right to trial by a jury of one's peers is not something that should ever be taken for granted. It's truly an honor to participate in such a vital part of the justice system, and it's a blessing that we, as Americans, can rely on this fundamental constitutional right.

Today officially marks the First Anniversary of Willsey & Wintz!

We cannot thank our clients and the community enough for all of the support that has been thrown our way. If not for you, our dream could not have become a reality. It has been a privilege and an honor to assist you all with your legal needs thus far. We look forward to helping our clients, both present and future, and will continue to figure out ways to use our skills to further benefit the Indianapolis metropolitan area.

On the road again!

This morning Cory was in Rising Sun, seat of Ohio County.

Ohio county was created as a result of a dispute between Rising Sun and Lawrenceburg over who would be the seat of Dearborn county. To settle the dispute, the state legislature cut Ohio county out of a chunk of Dearborn, and named Rising Sun the seat of this new county.

Unfortunately Rising Sun really got the short end of the stick, as Ohio county is the smallest county in Indiana, both by population and by square mileage.

Another fun fact about Ohio county is that their pre-civil war courthouse is still used today, and is known as the longest continuously-used courthouse in Indiana.
