New year, new laws! Small business owners, please let us know if we can help.

Every January, small businesses should undertake specific legal tasks to ensure they start the new year on a strong footing. Here's a list of key tasks to get you started:

We were delighted to help such an amazing organization.

Great news! Volia Fund has received 501(c)(3) status from the IRS, making it a tax-deductible organization. This is a significant milestone for the non-profit — we are grateful to AMT Law, LLC for the partnership and extraordinary support on the way to receiving the status.

This status means that any donations made to Volia Fund since its founding date are now tax-deductible, allowing the organization to attract more support from individuals and corporations interested in advancing cutting-edge technology and innovation to support Ukraine. The tax-exempt status will also help the fund in pursuing grants and other funding opportunities, enabling it to provide more resources to its partners and projects.

Volia Fund is committed to supporting humanitarian, educational, and advancing deep-tech projects that have the potential to transform society, and the 501(c)(3) status will help the organization achieve its goals more effectively. With this status, the fund can now focus on strengthening its partnerships, expanding its network, and driving innovation forward.

In addition to receiving 501(c)(3) status, the next step for Volia Fund is to integrate with Benevity, Facebook & Instagram Fundraising tools, and DonateStock. These platforms will allow the organization to reach a wider audience and attract more donors to the mission of the non-profit.

Benevity is a leading platform that connects companies and their employees with non-profit organizations like Volia Fund. The integration will allow employees of participating companies to donate directly to Volia Fund through their workplace giving programs. This will enable Volia Fund to access a new source of donations and expand its support base.

Facebook and Instagram Fundraising tools will allow Volia Fund to launch campaigns and fundraisers directly on the social media platforms. This integration will make it easier for the organization to reach a broader audience, attract new supporters, and increase engagement with its deep tech projects.

Finally, integrating with DonateStock will enable Volia Fund to accept donations in the form of appreciated stocks, which is an efficient way for donors to support the organization while also receiving tax benefits. This integration will provide an additional avenue for supporters to contribute to Volia Fund and help advance its mission.
