Marketing Internship Job description:
We are a small law firm in Myrtle Beach, SC that's looking for hungry open minded professionals who want hands on experience developing and executing marketing. We do personal injury, employment and wages cases, toxic mold litigation and criminal defense. We have a unique and creative team that includes members with backgrounds in Theater, Marketing, Business Management, Finance, Nursing and Law. While we work in a professional business we've found that an effective team is composed of great people where the right attitude comes before a specific skill set or background. You could be the next team member if you read through this application and fit the mold of an intern (or future employee) we're looking for.
Qualifications: • Positive attitude with a desire to work with intention. • A desire to learn new technical skills and/or apply creative skills. • Current college student (or engaged in another process of professional development). • Ability to work in-person at our Myrtle Beach office 3-5 days per week for 4-8 hours per office day. • Willingness to learn new software or applications (no technical background required). We will ask you to be in-person at our office three to five days per week on a consistent and rhythmic basis.
We won’t ask you to hit the phones (that's not a part of how we do business). We will ask you to be proactive and engaged with our team. This is a real marketing-oriented position designed to nurture and develop talented people who see the value in personal and professional growth. Examples of, but not limited to, the kind of work we want help with: • Social Media • Copywriting • Video Editing • Marketing Creatives • PPC • Content Production • SEO.
Bonus Technical Skill(s) - Not Requirements: • Experience with Adobe Suite (InDesign, Premier Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop) • Video Editing Experience. Don't have technical skills or experience? That's okay, we are happy to teach those who want to learn. If you have a general aptitude for learning and have the drive and desire to grow your skills then you'll be a great fit. Creative personalities are welcome! Although technical skills are important we also need fresh thinkers who have clever ideas to push us in new directions. If you have a somewhat unconventional background but the right attitude (do, grow, accomplish) we might have a spot for you.
