Another in our attorney profile series, Nathan Westover joined Miller Harrison in 2022 and has engrained himself in our litigation practice—bringing a steady hand, sharp legal mind, and a borderline encyclopedic knowledge of movies to every case.
He focuses on property law, construction defect cases, HOA disputes, and contract wrangling. Licensed in both Utah and Arizona, Nathan represents HOAs, developers, and contractors across the state with a practical, results-oriented approach and an uncanny ability to make even the driest contracts sound (almost) interesting. A former family law attorney with training in collaborative law practices, Nathan is known for his sharp writing, calm demeanor, and an ability to successfully navigate complex real estate conflicts without losing his cool—or his pen.
Nathan’s love for the law started early, when he toured the Las Vegas federal courthouse at age 10 and was awestruck by the judge’s office size. He’s come a long way since then, trading in courthouse tours for courtroom arguments—though he’ll still pause to admire a good filing cabinet. He graduated from BYU with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Philosophy, and earned his J.D. from Arizona State’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law in 2016 (Go Devils).
Outside the office, Nathan is a serious movie buff. And by serious, there are few movies he hasn’t seen. He’s married to an attorney (which keeps negotiations at home professionally balanced), and he enjoys traveling with their three kids, finding great local food, cheering for his beloved Diamondbacks, and making movie recommendations you didn’t ask for—but will thank him for later.
