School started today in Cherokee County, North Carolina. Stop for stopped school buses and go slow through school zones. As much as I appreciate the business, I would much rather you not be facing criminal charges. Those violations are more severe than a speeding ticket and can be even worse if a child is hurt. Slow down, stop for stopped school buses and do not drink and drive especially with children in the car with you unless you want to have mandatory incarceration. Getting multiple DWIs in NC will result in jail time. So don't do it! And no not reading you your miranda rights will not result in a dismissal!

Also make sure your kids are in school and if your child has medical reasons resulting in multiple school absences, please make an appointment with an attorney before the school brings charges. There are things that can be done for medical reasons only and must be done properly with a medical doctor involved. Do not ignore the letters. That could and probably will result in criminal charges.

Enough said, pray for our schools and watch out for the kids.
Get your kids to school.
