Her American law degree was earned
at Vanderbilt University law school (LL.M). Her two other law degrees are from the University of Helsinki (Finland) and Uppsala University (Sweden), where she graduated with an LL.M. degree; the equivalent of an American J.D. She has also studied international law in Israel and Germany. Katja has been admitted to practice law in Tennessee and in Finnish and Swedish courts. Katja has worked as an attorney in the Finnish Parliament at the Ombudsman’s Office and as a law clerk in a Finnish District court. She has also worked as an attorney in New York and Nashville. She is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and the Lawyers’ Association for Women (Nashville, TN). As a native Finn with excellent language skills, Katja is able to handle your case in English, Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish and German.
