Happy to announce that I have been Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Criminal Trial Attorney. When a criminal defense lawyer is certified by the NJ Supreme Court and designated as a Certified Criminal Trial Attorney, it means a great deal for both the attorney and their clients. The designation is meant to provide prospective clients with valuable information about lawyers in New Jersey. The NJ Board on Attorney Certification has specified that the attorney certification program protects consumers and helps them to make informed decisions when seeking and selecting a lawyer.

The three-judge panel vacated the conviction and ordered a new trial for Anthony Sims Jr., 32, of Long Branch, who is serving 50 years in Trenton State Prison for allegedly shooting another man 12 times in Red Bank on April 9, 2014.

The State of NJ has passed a bill that will release certain state inmates who have served time during the pandemic. A step in the right direction to release non-violent offenders who are at the end of their sentence.If you think your family member or friend may qualify, contact my office.

Gov. Phil Murphy signed a bill Monday reducing sentences in a prison system with the highest coronavirus death rate in the nation.

My office has been hard at work during the pandemic handling matters remotely, but it's nice to hear we will be getting back into the courtroom soon. There is nothing better than advocating for a client in person.

The court says it's the best option given coronavirus restrictions, but many in the legal community are concerned about it.

Despite the pandemic, stay-at-home orders, court closings and the chaos of 2020, my office remains open and fully functioning.
