Navigating Parenting Plan issues can be challenging under normal circumstances, but the COVID-19 crisis has left many parents wondering if they need to follow the Court ordered residential schedule under the Stay Home Stay Safe order.

Your particular situation may have unique circumstances that you may wish to contact an attorney to discuss; however, generally speaking, the Stay Home Stay Safe order does not affect your duty to follow the orders currently in effect in your family law matter.

The Skagit County Superior Court has issued guidelines that might help you determine what you should do in your case.

With the recent COVID-19 outbreak, and the response by local and State government, the Eason Law Firm, PS will remain open; however, we are limiting face-to-face contact during the Stay Home Stay Healthy order issued on March 23, 2020.

We will be closed to walk-in traffic and handing matters on an electronic/telephonic/virtual basis until further notice. Documents can be left in the mail box located at the “C” entrance to the North of our entrance.

Do you have kids who need to go back into a car seat or booster seat? Washington state's child passenger safety law changes January 1st, 2020 - kids need to be in a car seat or booster seat until they are 4'9" tall!
