This Police Week, I’m incredibly proud to announce that Homes for Heroes and Marla & Company | Keller Williams Western Realty are one of the K-9Super Hero sponsors of the Skagit County K9 Heroes Fund event! 🐾🚔
And yes… I’ll be out there running right alongside our community in support of these incredible K9 teams and the officers who stand beside them every single day. 💙
Police dogs are more than working animals. They are protectors, partners, trackers, guardians, and family. They run toward danger without hesitation, help locate missing people, protect officers in critical moments, and serve our communities with unbelievable loyalty and courage.
Behind every badge is a human being carrying the weight of difficult calls, long nights, trauma, and responsibility. And beside many of them is a K9 partner willing to face it all too.
During National Police Week, I think it’s important we remember ALL the heroes who serve… including the four-legged ones. 🐕🦺🇺🇸
We would LOVE to see more community participation, more runners, more local businesses involved, and more support poured into this amazing cause. Events like this help fund training, equipment, medical care, and continued support for the K9 units serving Skagit County.
Let’s show up BIG for those who protect our communities.
