Social Security recently added 14 new conditions to the Compassionate Allowances list, bringing the total to around 260 eligible conditions.

The Compassionate Allowances program helps individuals with severe medical conditions bypass lengthy appeal processes to get their disability benefits awarded much faster once medical proof is provided.
