You should be aware that the changes made to the Michigan no-fault law on July 2, 2021 are really bad for Michigan drivers. Benefits you had before the new law have been stripped and insurance rates have not been reduced as promised. Profits for the insurance companies will skyrocket. For those catastrophically injured in a motor vehicle accident the news is even worse.

You should contact your state representative and let them know that you are not happy with the changes they made.

Michigan's new auto no fault law is destroying its best-in-the nation system of care for survivors of catastrophic auto accidents. Many could soon get the same "awful" level of care as those in other states.

Gray, Sowle, and Iacco is proud to stand against powerful corporate interest groups and insurance agencies.

As attorneys who specialize in auto accident cases, we see firsthand how auto insurance companies work against Michigan motorists. Their lobbyists are working nonstop to take away your benefits. We encourage you to educate yourself on these issues and stay vigilant.

In 2016, Michigan had 38 cyclists who were killed on roadways in addition to more than 2000 cyclist injuries.

Did you know that Michigan has been only one of 11 states with no “Safe Passing” laws for cyclists? Thankfully, a new law goes into effect on September 27th that will require drivers to pass at least 3 feet away from cyclists. Here’s what you need to know.

Cycling is becoming ever more popular in the state of Michigan. Unfortunately, with more cyclists on the road it has also increased the number of motor vehicle bicycle accidents. A new “Safe Passing” law hopes to help Michigan cyclists stay safe on the road.
