CMU Students: Just a heads up. CARMA has now established plastic bag recycle containers that are located in the lobbies of all the Residence Halls on campus. Instead of throwing away your garbage bags and them being deposited into the oceans where they do nothing but contaminate and get into the stomachs of marine life, recycle them! These plastic bags are being threaded into "plarn" which is plastic-yarn and made into bed mats by CMU faculty which will then be donated to homeless shelters! If you're interested in joining our initiative, contact CARMA! 🐳🐬🦈🐟🐙♻️
