An unfortunate byproduct of the stay at home orders that have recently been enacted by state and local officials has been a sharp rise in domestic violence cases. The YWCA is reporting a 50% increase in victim calls. If you or someone you know is a victim of domestic violence, first call 911 and report the incident. Then, call us. Governor Lee signed Executive Order 23 today. Following many other states, this Order mandates that Tennesseans remain home except for certain essential activities. The Order continues to exempt certain professions from these restrictions. Medical, Legal, First Responders, grocery workers are among those deemed essential by the Order.
