Let's talk vehicle insurance coverage!

Washington only requires drivers to carry a $25,000/$50,000 policy. This means there is only $25,000 per person per collision for a total payout of $50,000. An ambulance ride and ER visit can easily cost more than $25,000. There is where Underinsured Motorist and Personal Injury Protection coverage come in. These policy additions allow you to make a claim for your injuries under your own vehicle coverage as well as get your medical bills paid.

If you have this coverage and your insurance has denied your claim, we can help! Contact us today at 509-765-1851.

As temperatures reach triple digits this week, employers are required under Washington Law to provide certain accommodations for those working outside.

These accommodations include:
1. access to shade that has open air, ventilation, or cooling;
2. a sufficient quantity of suitably cool drinking water accessible to employees;
3. mandatory cool down rest periods of at least 10 minutes every two hours.

If you suffer from a heat related illness while working, you have a right to make a Worker's Compensation claim.

Courtney is a Moses Lake native who returned to the area to be a voice for those who need it most. While in law school, Courtney served as a Guardian ad Litem and interned at a private practice specializing in Social Security.

From a very young age, Courtney was passionate about pursuing a career in the law and has always desired to help those in the town she grew up in. In joining Calbom & Schwab Law Group, Courtney’s main focus is fighting for the rights of injured individuals to ensure they receive the compensation they are entitled to for their injuries.

In her free time, Courtney enjoys spending time with her fiance, her son, and her two german shepherds.
